Getting Ready and Getting Here
What to Bring
The weather in Costa is beautiful year-round, with sunshine in the morning and often afternoon rain showers this time of year. Evenings are cooler. So please pack clothing for variable conditions with both your bathing suit, shorts and a sweater. We will be doing light stretching and movement at times, so please dress in loose, comfortable clothing such as yoga gear.
For the workshop, pack a journal, pen, your laptop.
What Money to Bring
The US dollar is accepted in tourist areas. However, in many areas they prefer Costa Rican Colones. 1000 colones, referred to as 1 mil, is the equivalent of about 2 US dollars.
IMPORTANT - Costa Rica replaced their legal currency 2 years ago with a more plasticized bill. The older "paper-only" Bills are long longer considered legal currency. Many international money changers or verdors try and still exchange the old bills to get rid of them. DO NOT accept them. You cannot use them here.

Our nearest airport is SJO (Juan Santa Maria) in San Jose, Costa Rica - which is a hub airport servicing destinations from around the world. We have scheduled the retreat so you arrive the day before your retreat starts.
Our Personal driver with 20 years of tourism experience in Costa Rica will bring you to our retreat center. Enjoy your first Grocery shopping trip on your way to the here, included with your transportation.
